Deposits and Payments:
Holy Hills Maine Coons requires a $250 deposit to place a new kitten on the waiting list. The deposit is nonrefundable unless Holy Hills Maine Coons is unable to complete the sale agreement. Deposits can be made by clicking on the “Buy Now” button on the “Deposit Forms” page and completing the form for a secure payment by credit card, debit card, or a valid PayPal account. You may also place your deposit by mailing a check or money order to Holy Hills Maine Coons, 397 Hillsboro Lake Road, Hillsboro, Georgia 31038. Deposits will be held in a separate account until such time as your new kitten is born.
When placing a deposit, buyers are required to select the color and sex of the kitten. When the kittens are 6 weeks of age, we will begin scheduling kitten pickups in order of the deposits that were received by Holy Hills Maine Coons. The remaining balance is due when picking up your kitten.
** Personal checks will not be accepted for the final payment of your kitten(s). Certified Checks or Cash will be required for the final payment of the kitten(s). **

Adoption Policy & Procedures
Our goal, first and foremost, is to make the entire process of choosing a Maine Coon Cat a fun and enjoyable experience. We offer our owners some of the finest cats in the southeastern United States.
Waiting Lists & Deposits
Adopting a Maine Coon Cat at Holy Hills Maine Coons can be done in two ways. First is by getting on one of our waiting lists until the litter actually arrives. To do this, you must first contact us at Holy Hills Maine Coons for information on upcoming litters. Once we have established that we have an upcoming litter that meets your needs, a $250 deposit is required to hold your selection on the waiting list. The deposit can be placed securely through our website under the “Deposits” section using a PayPal account, a major credit or debit card. We can assist you if necessary through our secure PayPal process. Be sure to input the quantity, color, sex, and desired parents in the comments portion of the entry screen. PayPal will notify us immediately upon receipt of the transaction. After that, we will forward you an email confirming that we have applied your name to the waiting list of your choice. If you do not receive a confirmation email from us within 24 hours of placing your deposit, email or contact us immediately.
If the litter does not produce enough kittens to meet the demand on the waiting list, the following options will be given to those owners who were unable to adopt.
Option 1: Receive a full refund of the deposit.
Option 2: Transfer your deposit to the next available litter. Please keep in mind that with this option, you may go up or down in your selection priority.
Option 3: Transfer your deposit to the next available litter that allows you to keep your selection priority.
Adopting a kitten can also be done by continuing to check our website for available kittens. We post all our litters on the available kittens page of our website, along with the Dam, Sire, and kitten availability. After contacting us, you can place your deposit in the same manner as those on the waiting list have done through our deposits menu. If the litter is more than 7 weeks old, you can contact us, and we will process your adoption of any available kitten. At this stage, the full payment price would be due.
Kitten Picks
Once the litter is born and your deposit is confirmed, we will provide weekly litter updates on our website up to the end of week 6. At the beginning of week 6, Holy Hills Maine Coons will call you to schedule an appointment for you to visit our facility to schedule your kitten pickup. The kitten pick priority has already been established by the manner in which deposits were received at Holy Hills Maine Coons.
** We take the health and welfare of our puppies to be our greatest priority. We do not allow visits to our Nursery for kitten visits. We keep all nursing mothers and kittens separate from our other cats, and we strive to provide an environment that will keep them safe from exposure to any outside diseases or viruses that could be harmful or fatal to our kittens. The kittens do not receive any vaccinations prior to the age of 6 weeks and are protected only by the antibodies transmitted through nursing. They will receive their first round of vaccinations at 6 weeks of age. Kittens will be due for a second round of shots following the weekend they go to their new homes, which is also when we require you to have a Vet checkup for your new kitten. We hope that you understand, as a new owner, that we are simply protecting the health and welfare of the kittens. **
You can complete your balance in the same manner you made your deposit ( PayPal ) or by paying with cash or a certified check to Holy Hills Maine Coons.
Personal Checks will not be accepted for the final payment of the kitten(s).
Kitten Take Home
All kittens from Holy Hills Maine Coons at pickup will have received all scheduled deworming treatments and will have received all scheduled vaccinations for their age. Holy Hills Maine Coons certifies that all of its Maine Coon Cat litters are registered with the International Cat Association, and proper documentation will be transferred to the new owner upon pickup of the kitten(s). A kitten package will be provided for your new kitten(s) as well. Kittens generally are available to go home to their new families at 8 weeks of age. If a kitten requires airline transportation, the kitten must be at least 8 weeks of age as required by Federal and State regulations. Kittens generally go to their new homes on Saturday ( Earlier picks of the Litter ) or Sunday ( Later Picks of the Litter ) upon reaching 8 weeks of age.
When you arrive at Holy Hills Maine Coons to pick up your kitten(s), we have developed a “Kitten Package” to review with you prior to going home. This will take about 20-30 minutes, but it will include the following review of:
1.) All International Cat Association paperwork and applications
2.) Vaccination records
3.) 25-month Health Guarantee
4.) Feeding times, Diet, Kitten Chows
5.) Advice & information on house breaking
6.) Recommendations on training
7.) General Questions & answers
